Off duty officer involved in night club brawl had attempted to use police badge to settle disputeIn 2015, Vezina was charged with three counts of assault for an off-duty drunken brawl at a nightclub in 2014. The judge called the incident "troublesome" because Vezina used his police badge to try and deal with the matter. He was given a conditional discharge with six months of probation after pleading guilty to assault and causing a disturbance. He resigned before pleading guilty.

Man was choked after refusing to remove penny from mouth during breathalyzer test at traffic stopGascoyne was alleged to have breached Charter rights of a man by using unreasonable force during a check-stop detention. The man had a penny in his mouth while using the breathalyzer, and Gascoyne choked him in an attempt to force him to spit it out. The Court of Queen's Bench held that the use of force was reasonable and dismissed the appeal.

Officer carelessly aims and discharges firearm in residential neighbourhoodVercammen was charged with two firearms offences in connection with a 2004 incident, where he discharged his firearm in a residential neighbourhood in the middle of the day. Vercammen was acquitted by a jury on one charge of carelessly using a firearm and one of pointing a firearm, and returned to work in 2006.

Man assaulted by group of officers and alleges abuse was purposely taken place away from camerasA group of EPS officers, including Jacobs, arrested the plaintiff and forced him violently to the ground, then made him wait in the cold for 30 minutes without a jacket. When brought back to the station by Jacobs, the plaintiff was assaulted, he alleged, and forced into a corner that would conceal the assault from the video camera in the police station.
