  File consists of materials pertaining to a research project for the Canadian Advisory Council on the Status of Women, undertaken by members of the Misener-Margetts Women's Research Centre, to assess Canada's commitments to the United Nations 'Convention for the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination (CEDAW)', Edmonton, Alberta. Records include draft and final form letters, and a list of Government of Canada Ministers. Also includes a draft or copied letter from National Manufacturing to Industrial Mining Co. in Cambridge, Massachusetts dated 1969, regarding an outstanding balance owed, and a letter to the Women's Research Centre asking for information about the Cleary Law in the United States. Some of the material is in French.
