Campus Food Bank is located in SUB 1-81 at the University of Alberta.

The Campus Food Bank (CFB) was founded in 1991 and is the oldest food bank on a university campus in Canada.

We served our first student clients in 1991 when the Graduate Students' Association began departmental-level food collections and distribution as a response to high tuition and fees for international students. The food Bank was quicky co-funded by the Students' Union, and we continue to be generously supported by both undergraduate and graduate student unions.

In 1994, we became a registered Canadian charity with an independent board of directors. For more than 30 years now, we have provided supplementary food programming and education to the University of Alberta community.
