• Yard Share YEG
  Funded 2021 Yard Share YEG’s program aims to reduce barriers, empower communities, and increase food security through sharing yard space as a unique alternative to community gardens. Yard hosts and gardeners are matched through an online platform and are provided supplies for continuous support. Gardeners grow food in the host’s yard while sharing a small portion of their harvest with the host as an exchange. This collaboration provides the opportunity for those who are food insecure to share space in which to grow food.
• Edmonton Organic Growers Guild (EOGG)
  Funded 2010-2019, 2021-2022 Formerly known as the University Farm and Organic Growers. Edmonton Organic Growers Guild (EOGG) is a local volunteer-run urban farming initiative. They grow organic produce, encourage learning and eating, and provide food from their harvest to member volunteers and local food banks. They charge no fees and welcome folks from all walks of life.
• Campus Community Garden
  Funded 2003-2008 Goals: To produce food on campus without the use of pesticides, chemicals, genetically modified plants, or treated city water. To provide organic, fresh, and healthy food for students through the Campus Food Bank, a market garden, or another similar program. To create nature-connected recreational opportunities for students. To promote the cultivation of local, hardy, and easily managed vegetables.
